FRANCE 2030 EXPORT - International Young Talent Program

As part of the “Dare to Export” plan, the General Secretariat for Investment (SGPI) wanted to promote the internationalization of 1,000 SMEs & mid-size companies that had been awarded by “France 2030” and “French Tech 2030” by entrusting Business France with a personalized export support program generating business flows.

With “France 2030”, you can benefit from financial and operational support to strengthen your dedicated human resources in the field by recruiting a young talent (Volontariat International en Entreprise – VIE), thereby taking advantage of additional services that last over time.

Recruiting a V.I.E

The “France 2030” award-winning SMEs/mid-size companies that have joined the “France 2030 Export” program, as well as those that have joined “French Tech 2030”, can benefit from coverage of the cost of a young talent of up to €1,500/month over 16 months, up to a limit of €24,000.

Conditions

Only businesses under French law with VIE approval will be able to benefit from this state aid.

The selected candidate must meet the eligibility criteria required to carry out a VIE mission.

The “France 2030 Export” grant can be combined with regional and national aid applicable within the framework of the VIE scheme, up to 100% of the annual cost of a VIE and the aid ceiling of the so-called de minimis scheme.

What are the eligible missions?

Missions of more than six months or more.

Missions in a new country. The business must not have assigned a VIE in the country. However, countries in which the last mission has ended no later than December 31, 2019 will be considered as a new country.

Accomodation structure

You are also eligible for support of up to 50% of the costs of the professional accommodation structure (up to a maximum of €10,000 for all anchoring services).

An accommodation structure is a locally established business that offers professional accommodation for the VIE in their assignment country. Professional accommodation for the VIE concerns French businesses using the VIE that do not have any establishments or partners in the country in which they wish to assign their VIE.

Coaching your V.I.E

In order to promote the success of the young person’s mission at the destination, you can opt for the coaching service of your VIE, also supported up to 50% within the framework of the “France 2030 Export” program.

This involves setting up specific personalized support provided by a sector expert or a manager on site.

Your VIE will therefore be advised over time on the intercultural aspects to be taken into account to integrate as well as possible in the country, in addition to the methodological aspects of the market approach (the business environment, networking with the local ecosystem, etc.), without forgetting the training in pitching adapted to your sector, or the review of commercial documents so as to best meet the requirements of your customers in the country.
