Kantar Public interviewed 700 foreign decision-makers on behalf of Business France regarding France’s attractiveness. The results indicate that 88% of foreign executives consider France to be attractive, up four points from 2017. This is the case for 90% of executives from the United Arab Emirates, 84% from Germany, and 79% from the United Kingdom.
Following a 10-point increase in 2017, these results highlight the continuous improvement in France’s economic image among foreign decision-makers.
France remains Europe’s second most attractive country in terms of investment for 35% of respondents, up 10 points from 2016.
What’s more, 78% of foreign businesses based in France are happy with their investment, 85% consider that the French ecosystem encourages innovation, and 80% believe that French industry is attractive.
