In March, the ‘Great Place to Work’ 2018 rankings were released, featuring 79 French companies committed to offering a good quality of life in the workplace.
Spanning a range of sectors (consulting, distribution, software, insurance etc.) and sizes, from SMEs with a handful of employees to large organizations with several thousand personnel, these companies were praised for “placing a real importance on developing an environment in which employees can feel themselves, build strong relationships and thrive in their roles,” said Michael C Bush, CEO of the research and analytics firm Great Place To Work.
Decathlon remained in first place in 2018 in the category for companies with more than 5,000 employees. Kiabi rose six places in the European rankings, which saw it move up to second place among French companies with more than 5,000 personnel, followed by Leroy Merlin France and McDonald’s France.
